What PulseDry does
PulseDry is an Android speaker utility that plays focused tones for a selected duration and offers a simple two-tone speaker check. Tone generation and countdown state are handled on the device. The app does not record audio, inspect the contents of your phone, create an account, or upload a session history.
Sound vibration may help move light moisture near a speaker opening, but PulseDry cannot guarantee water removal, remove packed dust, waterproof a device, or repair hardware damage. Stop playback and seek qualified repair help when a device remains damaged.
Information used by advertising services
PulseDry uses Google Mobile Ads and Google's User Messaging Platform. When ads are allowed, Google and its partners may process information such as your IP address, advertising identifier, general device information, ad interactions, and diagnostics for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and compliance. Processing depends on your region, device settings, and consent choices.
Important: PulseDry does not sell your personal information. Dev Jang does not maintain a separate database of your tone activity.
Where ads can appear
A banner may be requested on the Home screen. No ad widget is shown on cycle selection, safety guidance, manual-frequency selection, speaker checks, or while a tone is playing. Core tone playback remains available if an ad cannot load.
Third-party services
Google's handling of advertising data is governed by its own terms and policies. Review Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
You stay in control
- Consent: Where required, PulseDry asks for your advertising consent before requesting ads.
- Advertising ID: Android settings let you reset or delete your advertising identifier and manage ad privacy.
- Offline use: You can use bundled tone cycles without an internet connection.
- Stop control: The active-cycle screen keeps a visible pause and stop control available.
- Uninstall: Removing PulseDry deletes its local app data from your device, subject to Android backup settings.
Children's privacy
PulseDry is a general-audience utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a Dev Jang account system because the app has no account system.
Retention and security
Dev Jang does not retain your tone selections or session activity on a server. Advertising providers retain and protect information under their own policies. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure.

Policy updates
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Material changes will be reflected in the app or Play listing when appropriate.
